現任樂文舞蹈團藝術總監及編舞，主要教授中國古典舞，民族舞；亦教授拉丁及社交舞。
Currently the Artistic Director and Choreographer of Norman Dance Company. Teaching mainly Chinese Classic Dance and Folk Dance. Mr. Chan also teaches Hip Hop, Latin and ballroom dances.
　

1981年到香港加入市政局舞蹈團，在十多部大型舞劇中擔任第一男主角，主要舞劇包括《畫皮》(王生)、《寶蓮燈》(劉彥昌)、《阿凡提》(阿凡提)、《達賴六世情詩》(達賴六世)、《周璇》(朱懷)、《自梳女》(俊德)、《秦始皇》(秦始皇)、《胭脂扣》(十二少)、《黃土地》(顧青)、《玉卿嫂》(慶生)等。
In 1981, he joined Hong Kong Urban Council Dance Company, taking on principal leading roles in numerous major dance productions, such as ‘Ghost Story –Face painting,’ 'The Magic Lantern,’ ' The Story of Afanti,’ ‘The Love Story of Dalai VI,’ 'The Story of Zhou Xuan,’ ‘Qin, The First Emperor of China,’ ‘Rouge and Rouge,’ ‘Yellow Earth’ and ‘The Jade’s Love.’

1988年應中國舞蹈家協會邀請，在隨團參加北京全國舞劇滙演的兩部大型舞劇《玉卿嫂》及《黃土地》中擔任第一男主角。其中《玉》劇獲中國舞蹈家協會頒發20世紀最佳舞劇經典獎。
In 1988, the Hong Kong Urban Council Dance Company was invited by the China Dancers’ Association to participate in the National Dance Drama Showcase in Beijing. Mr. Chan played principal leading role in ‘Yellow Earth’ and 'The Jade’s Love.’ The latter dance drama received the Twentieth Century Best Classic Dance Drama Award.

1992年正式獲委任為香港舞蹈團首席舞蹈員, 92-95年間在該團教授芭蕾雙人舞及基本功訓練。曾多次隨團到訪澳洲、英國、日本、韓國、新加坡、台灣、加拿大、北京等地演出，深受好評。
In 1992, Mr. Chan was appointed Principal Dancer of the Company. He also taught ballet duet and technique training from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Chan frequently toured with the Company to perform in Australia, England, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Canada, China (Beijing) etc. with much acclaim.

此外，亦曾任教於香港青年民族舞蹈團及香港基督教女青年會(YWCA) 舞蹈團，並帶領YWCA舞蹈團參加香港中西區舞蹈比賽，多次獲獎。
In addition, Mr. Chan also taught the Hong Kong Youth Folk Dance Group and the YWCA Hong Kong Dance Group. The latter dance group, under the guidance of Mr. Chan, received many awards in various Hong Kong dance competitions.

1998年移民到加拿大，在當地多間舞蹈團任教。2002年創辦樂文舞蹈團。
Mr. Chan immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1998. He has taught dancing in various local dance groups. He founded the Norman Dance Company in 2002.
